CHINA, SPECIAL EVENT STATION The Harbin Institute celebrates its 90th anniversary and the special event station BT90HIT will be QRV from Jun 1-10. QSL via BY2HIT. FRANCE, SPECIAL EVENT STATION The special event station TM24H is working in CW/SSB/PSK/RTTY on HF, VHF and 6m from the 78th edition of the legendary 24 Hours of Le Mans between May 30 and Jun 13. THE NETHERLANDS, SPECIAL EVENT STATION Frans,PC2F, will activate the special callsign PC100AR from May 29 until Jun 26. This call stands for 100 years Alfa Romeo. Frans is collecting everything by Alfa Romeo and so it was clear for him to activate a special callsign for this anniversary. The QSLs will be printed after Jun 26 and can be requested via bureau or direct or eQSL. DXCC: Once again you will have the possibility to use the DXCC field check at the ARRL booth on the HAM RADIO fair in Friedrichshafen. SILENT KEY: The wellknown DXer and DXpeditioner Jakob Laib,HB9TL (VK6CTL), passed away on Apr 24, at the age of 82. Jakob was Honor Roll #1 member of the DXCC and among others he activated also the neutral zone (mean- while deleted) in former years. PIRATE: ZK3T was ative in CW in December 2009 and announced DK8JB as his QSL manager. After the first QSLs have arrived DK8JB states that he cannot answer those requests because this wwas the work of a pirate.
