FH - MAYOTTE, AF-027
     Fabio,PY2AAZ/AC2AC, Anderson,PY2TNT, Fred,PY2XB, and Alex,PY2WAS,
     will show up as TO2FH from Mayotte (AF-027) from Sep 3-10.
     No QSL route known yet.

LX - LUXEMBURG
     Gerard,PE1BBI, Kees,PA5WT, Frans,PC5T, Rob,PE1ITR, and Theo,PA1TK, will
     be QRV as LX/PA1TK in the VHF Contest (Sep 4/5) and as LX/homecalls in
     CW and SSB on 80m-10m from Sep 2-5. They will use yagis for 2m/70cm,
     a Spiderbeam and dipoles for HF and a 5ele yagi for 70 MHz.
     QSL cards should be sent via their homecalls.

RI1F - FRANZ-JOSEF-LAND, EU-019
     Evgenij,UA4RX (ex-R1FJT), has returned to Franz-Josef-Land (EU-019) and
     will take care of the meteorological station on Kheysa Island (Heiss)
     for the next year. His new callsign is RI1FJ now.
     His QSL cards are managed by UA2FM (bureau ok), who has also the logs
     of R1FJT (2006-2008). The former QSL manager UA4RC died last year.

TK - CORSICA
     Jim,TK/F5MCC, and Gilles,TK/F4FGJ, are going to activate EU-014, EU-104
     and EU-164 from Sep 4-24. They will also activate the WLOTA lighthouses
     LH 1390, LH 0098, LH 0755, LH 2562, LH 4089 and a new one which has no
     reference number yet. They also plan to make a few SOTA activations.
     QSLs direct or via bureau to their homecalls.

YK - SYRIA
     Saad,N5FF, will be on their air again as YK1BA from Sep 6-17. Saad
     wants to help those who still need Syria on a specific band or mode.
     QSLs should be sent direct to N5FF.

ZD9 - TRISTAN DA CUNHA 6 GOUGH ISLAND, AF-039
     John,ZS1LF, is the leader of a South African scientific team which will
     stay on Gough Island (AF-039) from September 2010 until September 2011.
     John is the radio technician. This is already his second stay on Gough.
     You can expect activities mostly in SSB (but also in digital modes) on
     160m-10m using his callsign ZD9GI but he will have time for his hobby
     only after his work - mostly in the evening hours and at the weekends.
     His equipment includes a TS480 and dipoles. John also offers to arrange
     skeds via his e-mail: [email protected]
     His QSL manager is ZS1A ([email protected]). QSLs should be sent via the

5R - MADAGASCAR, AF-013
     Franck,F4DBJ, will stay another time on Madagascar (AF-013) between
     Sep 5 and Nov 28. He will sign 5R8HT running 100 watts into a W3DZZ for
     40m/80m and a vertical for 10m/15m/20m. QSL via F4DBJ, bureau ok.

9H - MALTA, EU-023
     9H3OO is the callsign of Ariel,LU4OO, who works in SSB on HF from
     Aug 30 until Sep 4. QSL via homecall.

9M6 - EAST MALAYSIA, OC-088
     Yoshihiro,9M6/JK2VOC, announced to become active from Borneo (OC-088)
     on Sep 2-6. He wants to take part also in the All Asian DX SSB Contest
     on Sep 4/5. QSLs unfortunately only direct via JK2VOC.

9V - SINGAPORE, AS-019
     Loren,9V1/AD6ZJ, will be QRV again in September, mostly in the nights
     and during the weekends. He will work in CW, SSB and RTTY on all open
     bands (preferring the WARC bands).
     QSLs via bureau or direct to AD6ZJ or via LoTW.

9X - RWANDA
     Tom,DL2RUM, has extended his stay in Rwanda and stays active as 9X0TL
     until Sep 9. His next business trip to Kigali will follow on Sep 19-28.
     Tom is using a K3 Transceiver, a 600 watts amplifier, a Butternut HF9V,
     an HB9CV for 6m and several wire antennas for 80m-6m nd is working in
     CW, SSB and RTTY. The QSLs were already approved for DXCC credit and
     should be sent direct or via bureau to his homecall or via LoTW.

AUSTRIA, SPECIAL EVENT STATIONS
     The "Austrian Military Radio Society" celebrates its 50th anniversary
     from Sep 1 until Dec 31. Several special event stations are activated
     for this reason, counting two points for the "AMRS award": OE50AMRS,
     OE50XAM, OE50XCL, OE50XCW, OE50XLC, OE50XMA and OE50XRM. Following
     stations count one point for this award: OE50AJT, OE50EHB, OE50EMC,
     OE50EOW, OE50FHA, OE50FQU, OE50GMU, OE50HCE, OE50HFC, OE50IPC, OE50KLU,
     OE50LTL, OE50MCU, OE50NIP, OE50OLD, OE50PAL, OE50PCD, OE50PLN, OE50PPF,
     OE50RJJ, OE50RWL, OE50SPW, OE50TKW, OE50TRB, OE50VIE and OE50VRC.
     QSLs via OE4RGC (all QSOs will be confirmed via bureau automatically).

BELGIUM, SPECIAL EVENT STATIONS
     Several members of the radio club of Binche (ON7RY) are going to put
     the special event station ON4WAR on the air on Sep 4 (1100-1800 UTC)
     and Sep 5 (1000-1400 UTC). This is to remember the resistance in WW2.
     Their preferred frequencies are: 3560, 3579, 3583 and 7025 kHz (in CW)

CHILE, SPECIAL EVENT STATIONS
     From Sep 1-30 the Chilean amateurs may change their regular prefixes
     CD, AC, CE and XQ to the special prefix 3G to celebrate the 200th anni-
     versary of the Chilean war for independence.

ITALY, SPECIAL EVENT STATIONS
     The "Aerobatic Patrol" (the aerobatic team of the Italian Air Force)
     is celebrating its 50th anniversary and the special event station
     II3PAN will be active between Sep 1 and Oct 31.

TURKEY, SPECIAL EVENT STATIONS
     The "TC Special Wireless Activity Team" is using the special event
     callsign TC2010WBC during the 2010 FIBA Basketball World Championship
     in Turkey from Aug 28 until Sep 5.
     All QSOs are confirmed via bureau automatically by the end of December.
