CY0 - SABLE ISLAND, NA-063
     The DXpedition to Sable (NA-063) Island which has been well planned
     and postponed for several times will take place from Dec 6-13 now.
     The team includes Ron,CY0/AA4VK, Randy,CY0/N0TG, and Murray,CY0/WA4DAN.
     Murray only takes part because the DXpedition has been postponed a few
     times. They plan to work with three stations simultaneously on 160m-6m
     in CW, SSB and RTTY. They will use a "Battle Creek Special" on 40m, 80m
     and 160m but have also three verticals, at least one wire and a yagi.
     All direct QSLs should be sent to N0TG, bureau QSLs via the homecalls.
     They ask everybody to use the "Online QSL Request Service" (OQRS) on
     the DXpedition website for direct- or bureau QSLs. Please click on

J6 - ST LUCIA, NA-108
     The group "Buddies in the Caribbean" successfully makes DXpeditions
     with 100 watts or less and will do so again from St. Lucia (NA-108)
     from Dec 5-13. The team (including Budd,W3FF, Guy,N7UN (J68UN),
     Wey,K8EAB, Bill,W7ZT, Todd,N4LA, Kent,K4MK, Gary,NX8L, and Tom,W4OKW)
     will be active as J68UN or J6/homecalls in CW, SSB and RTTY on 160m-10m
     using special ultra light Buddipole portable antennas. They also plan
     to take part in the ARRL 10m Contest on Dec 11/12 signing J6BP.

TP - COUNCIL OF EUROPE
     The "Council of Europe Radioamateur Club" (TP2CE) will use the special
     callsign TP60CE in all modes on all bands (including satellite) for the
     last time on Dec 3, Dec 5 and Dec 8. QSL via F5LGF, also via bureau.

     Yuri,N3QQ, and Tim,NL8F, will activate several IOTA islands between
     Nov 30 and Dec 16. They will be QRV in CW and SSB on 40m-6m as:

VP8/A - ANTARCTICA, AN-016
     Mika,OH2FFP, is member of the Finnish scientific team which will stay
     at the Aboa station on Queen Maud Land during December and January.
     He will be on the air as OJ1ABOA and will show up also from the Swedish
     base "Wasa" and "Svea" during Xmas. QSL cards via his homecall.

VP8/F - FALKLAND ISLANDS, SA-002
     VP8SCC will be activated in digital modes by British marine soldiers
     in December. Responsible for the station is John,VP8CWQ.

VP8/SH - SOUTH SHETLAND ISLANDS, AN-010
     A group of Italian students led by Prof. Julius Fabbri is starting an
     expedition to the South Shetland Islands (AN-010) in December to honour
     the Italian adventurer Renato Cepparo and his team who founded the
     "Giacomo Bove Camp" (WAP ITA-02) 35 years ago. They will be active on
     HF with the expedition call sign of Renato Cepparo I1SR.

VP9 - BERMUDA ISLANDS, NA-005
     Hans,VP9/SM3TLG, is working in SSB and CW from Hamilton Parish (NA-005)
     from Dec 1-5. QSL via bureau or direct to his homecall.

Z2 - ZIMBABWE
     Mirek,VK6DXI, will be QRV as Z21DXI from Bulawayo from Dec 6-17. Since
     this is a business trip he will have only little time for our hobby.

ZL7 - CHATHAM ISLANDS, OC-038
     Hiro,JF1OCQ/W1VX/ZL1WY, will be active as ZL7A and ZL7/W1SY from the
     Chatham Islands (OC-038) from Dec 2-9. Hiro will work in CW, SSB, RTTY,
     PSK and FM on 160m-6m (with focus on 160m and 6m). He will have also
     a beacon on 50.117 MHz.

     Jacques,3B8/F1BCS, is working from Mauritius (AF-049) using an IC-7000
     and a 3ele yagi in SSB/RTTY/PSK on 15m/17m/20m from Nov 29 till Dec 17.

6W - SENEGAL
     Mark,6W/AA1AC, is working from La Somone from Dec 1-7.

9Q - DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF CONGO
     Patrick,ON4HIL, Theo,ON4ATW, Marc,ON6CC, Luc,ON4IA, Wim,ON4CIT, and
     Ronald,PA3EWP, are going to hit the airwaves as 9Q50ON from Dec 3-13.
     The number 50 in their callsign stands for 50 years of independence of
     the Democratic Republic of Congo. Activities are planned in SSB and CW
     on 160m-10m. The QSL manager ON4BR confirms via bureau or direct.
