Early on in my antenna adventures I read with interest about the 5 band folded dipole antenna known as the CobWebb Antenna commercially produced and sold by G3TPW. The antenna was good fun to make as a homebrew project - if you are a tiny bit faint-hearted I strongly recommend you buy the finished product from G3TPW.
Short on pennies I decided to try homebrewing one of these antennas. After loads of trial and error I did build one (and had to invest in an analyser. It worked really well much to the dismay of the station prevention department who considered my effort somewhat of a washing line!
Here are some pictures of the beast in construction as it ended up looking. Very rough and ready but it did work!
