RECOMMENDED TRAINING


These recommendations are listed by position/assignment. Definitions of each position/assignment is included below:

    ALL - Basic training that everyone needs to get started and be useful.
    CERT - Training that will prepare you to provide communications between a CERT Team location and the city EOC.
    FIELD - Training that will prepare you to provide communications at a Field location such as a shelter, staging location, CERT Team, creek watch, crowd monitor, shadow assignment, staff the communications van, etc.
    PACKET - Training that will prepare you to set-up and operate a packet station provided to you, or one that you bring, at any location to which you might be assigned.
    EOC - Training that will prepare you to operate from the city Emergency Operations Center (EOC).
    LEADERSHIP - Training that will prepare those asked to take on a leadership role as an AEC or shift supervisor.
