There was small gap in the coming spacers at the back. I enlarged this gap and placed a small piece of 1/4" plywood vertically in the gap. This contrasts nicely with the horizontal orientation of the coaming spacer plywood.
I also drilled holes through the hull at the bow and stern and epoxied in some tubing. Rope will go through these holes for grab/carry/tie down handles
