A couple ELKEY (factory iterature capitalizes the name and shows it as one word). The ELKEY was made by Poucel Electronics of Long Island, NY from 1959 through 1963. Poucel was Bob Poucel (W2AYJ) and Sid Shore (K2FC). Poucel presented this design as the answer to the problem of finding a good, sturdy mechanical keying mechanism for the electronic keyers that were appearing in the early 1960s. The ELKEY used silver contacts and fingerpieces were Lucite. Original selling price was $15.50.
