The FT-847 has four separate RF outputs and the AI-847 supports controlling the PTT of 4 corresponding amplifiers.

The AI-847 plugs into the "STBY" mini din jack on the rear panel of the FT-847 and provides 4 individual RCA (phono) jacks; one each for:

• HF
• 6 meters (50 MHz)
• 2 meters (144 MHz)
• 70 cm (432 MHz).
