WINLINK CHECK-IN NET

While we show this "net" on Mondays, actually this is something you can do anytime during the week, prior to 9AM on Tuesdays.
The "net" consists of sending a radio email (using WINLINK) to [email protected].    When inside WINLINK, you only need to address W4AKH.
The email can be sent by Telnet inside WINLINK if you don't have a radio connection yet, but we encoruage you to develop VHF and/or HF radio connections.   We have multiple VHF RMS gateways locally, and there are  >100 HF Gateways you could use nationwide as well as many within Florida.

You can even "check in" from SHARES to the same address, W4AKH if you wish.

The "report" comes out on Tuesdays and typically there are scores and scores of stations participating and a hundred or more msssages sent.   Latest Florida Winlink Check-In Net Report

The check-in message format of the SUBJECT LINE is key:
SUBJECT LINE: FL WL NET, first name, city, State abbreviation, Mode (VARA , ARDOP, any etc..) ,P2P (if p2p), optional RMS station and path
e.g. FL WL NET, JOHN, FT PIERCE,FL, VARA FM, RMS KG4ORQ-10 145.000
