QSSTV 9.5.x is from now on the official version

All 9.5.x versions do not add any features.  They only correct compiler issues with older or newer
versions of gcc or Qt.
If you do not have issues compiling the 9.4.x versions on your systen, then there is no need to upgrade.

You can download the version (QSSTV 9.5.8) from the download section.
You can find the changelog in the manual.

As from version 9.4.x QSSTV is using a new template editor. It will use different offsets for the text items.
Therefore you must load all template files created in prior versions of QSSTV and drag text items to the correct places .
Then save the file under the same name (File-> Save file ..)

It is no longer necessary to add c++11 to the configuration when using older distributions.

If you start QSSTV from a terminal window then you might see the following type of errors:

QXcbConnection: XCB error: 3 (BadWindow) ..........

This is a known problem within Qt not QSSTV.
The error  (AFAIK) is harmless and should not cause a problem. Hopefully this will be solved soon by the Qt developpers.

There is also some template examples provided as a starting point to create your own.
Copy them to your template directory.

Now also tested on Raspberry Pi 3 running Rasbian Stretch and Ubuntu Mate and it's running just fine.

The manual is included in the download file and latest version of it is availble from this website.
This gives me the opportunity to update the manual without going to a new revision of the software distribution.
