Saterday 2th of June
Severals spots in the DX-cluster of F/ON6JUN/P on 40-, 20-, 10- and 2-meters. I heared them 51 on 50.205 MHz with a burst of 30 seconds around 11:20h UTC. To short to made contact with my station or perhaps he has stopped his transmission just at that moment.... Conditions not optimal for 50 MHz between Belgium and France for shortskip.
F/ON6JUN/P, operator Steven on the RS12 satellite (passage 12:45 UTC) and made contact with them.
In the early evening they made already contacts all over the world and on all activated HF bands.
Very good weather, sun

I heared Steven, de ON4CLC operating F/ON6JUN/P for the last time at 20:15 UTC on 144.385 MHz and recorded a live audiosample of his transmission. Click here view the operator Steven ON4CLC and to listen his transmission. I didn't make contact with him because I was busy recording the audio hi. Soon after this he stopped his transmission... I recorded this audio sample from my TM255 and a home made designed 6-element Yagi.

We have operated the
station in the garden of the new World War Two museum in Ranville.
We were really in the centre of the festivities the 1st weekend
of June!
We were located at the original Pegasus Bridge and the WO 2
Museum! So our special callsign means realy something now: France
/ON the 6th of JUNe
at /Pegasus. The QTH
locator is IN99UF.
The crew of this expedition was wearing T-shirts with a special designed logo by Jos ON5SD and his daughter Valerie. This enabled visitors to recognise us more easily to. This excellent and original logo can be viewed above or by clicking here for a bit larger picture.
We have used special lodgements and army tents to blend in the unique environment of the area of Pegasus en WO2 museum.
Once again we activated with the memory of D-DAY with this special event station. Many thanks to all who have made contact with us and all SWL's.
Every contact or SWL-rapport will receive a special totaly new designed QSL-card!!!
