PARA's host is the Chester County ARES/RACES organization. Their offices and communication center are located in this building along with the Chester County Emergency Operations Center ( EOC ). This is the front of the building and the main door is in the middle. You can see the communications tower to the left and behind the building. This is a closer view of the communications tower. The 146.940 MHz antenna is a four dipole array, Decibel Products Model DB-224, and is the bottom antenna on the right. The tower is 195 feet high and antenna mount is at approximately 95 feet. The antenna is 20 feet tall and is oriented to the Southeast. Coverage MapIf commercial power fails the UPS system takes over immediately and runs the critical equipment until the main emergency generator can start up, get up to speed and then take over from the ups system. This is a back-up, back-up generator which is identical to the main back-up generator in case that one fails. This is the 146.940 MHz W3EOC/R repeater mounted in a six foot relay rack.
