VHF UTILITY DX SEPTEMBER 1974 Tom uses a very effective form letter for reporting to the stations. He and Donald Blevins find that scanner receivers much more useful than tuneable models when the skip is in. Tom offers assistance to those who need it in identifying Maryland police stations. He also advises that the Maryland State Police do not verify reports as they do not want to take on an extra work load.
