For a change they came at a time when the F2 would be affected the most (un- like the July activity of last summer). Thus, US F2 DX conditions (for a while) have been the best since 1972's fall season. More of this upswing's effects will be seen in next month's column. A $10/yr monthly publication has been resumed by the NOAA people at Boulder. It is much less detailed than the former weekly (free) bul- letin was.
