SSTV - Slow Scan TeleVision
Veja bem ... SSTV é um modo de transmissão só usado por RADIOAMADORES. Este modo dá a possibilidade de transmitir imagens estáticas coloridas pelo rádio, são imagens estáticas exemplo fotos, porque a largura de banda não permite as imagens em movimento, SSTV(Slow Scan Television - Televisão de varredura lenta). As cores das imagens são transformadas em sinal auditivo. Cada cor tem seu próprio tom entre 1500Hz (NEGRO) e 2300Hz (BRANCO). UM quadro de SSTV tem 256 linhas, cada um é transmitido 3 vezes (RGB-cores). O tempo para enviar uma imagem colorida é de aproximadamente 2 minutos, dependendo da modalide de sstv utilizada.
Atualmente as frequencias mais utilizadas são:
40m - 7.170 a 7.175
20m - 14.225 a 14.235
15m - 21.330 a 21.345
10m - 28.660 a 28.680
O QSO em SSTV é feito da mesma maneira que em fonia, a diferença é em vez de transmitirmos VOZ, transmitimos sinais de áudio gerados pelo computador, em cada foto ou imagem transmitidas anexamos textos contendo QRA, QTH, reportagem, ou outro texto que queira, nunca transmita em cima de um QSO em andamento, espere sempre pela última imagem de encerramento do QSO.
Estações Europeias e Sulamericanas utilizam MARTIN1 como modo standard. Americanos e Japoneses utilizam SCOTTIE1 como standard. Todos os outros modos existentes no seu programa de SSTV não são utilizados freqüentemente, só para pequenas experiências.
No modo SSTV
as reportagens utilizam o RSV da seguinte forma:
R = RADIO (de 1 a 5, 5 é o melhor)
S = Intensidade do Sinal (1 to 9)
V = VIDEO (de 1 a 5, 5 é o melhor)
Quando uma imagem é recebida, limpa bem com boa
intensidade de sinal a melhor reportagem a ser informada
é RSV 595.
