Hi,for everybody! Im Valentin Ivanov -RX1AG- from Saint -Petersburg, Russia.
Born June 11, 1949 in Baku, Azerbaijan Republic. From his childhood love technology, especially radio and elektric.First X-cristal RX constract in 1959 in city radioclub of scout
/ pioneers/ organization BAKU. Then mastered engendered sales transistors P-401, P-13. eventually home made the famous pocket radio
to 5 transistors desine of (c) Plotnikov. Later passion was some sound amplifiers for Hi -sound to electronic tubes 6P3S, 6P1P. The universal passion
of youth (and adults) AM mode transmit on MW broadcast band /radiohuliganstvo/
interested me in 1963.

And in 1964 was constract next one the so-called it Prefix TX on 1 vacuumtube 6P3S to basis broadcast receiver
Record-53. This is a very simple structure, consisting of only 6 parts can be manufactured at the knee a couple of hours without having a
large knowledge of radio. A small and simple antenna long wire 20 m long, low power /abt 5 watts input / ensure good audibility at a distance of 20-50 km.

And in 1968, already having experience with the radio, came to the team of operators collectiv radioclub station UK6DAA valid Republican
amauter radioclub of Baku. In 1970 I received a personal call --RD6DHU --, which in 1972 was replaced by --UD6DHU--.Lovely band and mode it was
7 MHz CW, which carried out many thousands of interesting and long distance QSOs .Very activity in many national and international HAMTESTs
on HF is composed of commands UK6DAA, UK6DAN, and personal callsigns - UD6DHU. In 1973, together with a friend Vladislav Frolov -UD6DHW - built
a legendary transceiver UW3DI 1-j option.
Participated in radioexpedition: UK6CAA-first hamradio station of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic - USSR in Nakhchivan city - a separate
country on the list of R-150-P award /obl.002/; memorial call UD26BK - memory feat of 26-th Baku herou of commissars. Complied with the
conditions and received
a few dozen national and international awards.

In 1978 I moved to Leningrad / now it is Saint-Petersburg, Russia /, where in 1979 the call
was chanch to UA1AHQ. New modern homemade transceiver KRS-78 self-built in 1980. Call sign UA1AHQ was replaced by UV1AG in 1985. During visits
to Baku at 1986-1991 usually used the callsign UV1AG / UD, and spent a lot of QSO in the AA-DX Contest's. Regularly participated in various
competitions on the radio on HF: USSR Championship, the Cup of the USSR, Leningrad-Moscow match meeting on the 7 MHz CW, CQ WW Contest
on CW Superiority of the city and the Leningrad region, the various regional days of activity and finally, Memorials Victory Day War II.
Total received more than 300 different radioamateur awards: sports memorabilia, foreign, national, regional. Confirming QSL cards from
250 different countries and territories, all the continents and Antarctica.

With the 90-ies of the activity markedly decreased. After the reforms call my callsign changed to RX1AG.
In 1994, there was a reform of individual call signs and I was forcibly changed from the good-sounding UV1AG call sign to the difficult RX1AG call sign in terms of pronunciation and recognition under interference conditions. It took me a long time to get used to the growling sound: Er-r-r... Ek-k-s-s... alone..Ah... ge.... I didn't want to turn on the equipment for almost two years I got used to it a little bit, only after 2000. He purchased a modern Japanese KB transceiver "Kenwood-570", an automotive FM radio station "Yaesu FT-1802 ", a hand-held BAOFENG radio station.
In 2009, have got an all-wave Yaesu FT-897-D to work on VHF.
Since 2010, I have been gradually participating in contests for HF and VHF, performing and receiving various amateur radio diplomas.
Since 2014, he began to master "digital" types of amateur radio communications such as PSK, JT65, jT9, FT-8, FT-4.
Since 2015, he has mastered digital communications and conducted more than 1,000 QSOs in a year.
Member of the amateur radio clubs EPC, ARCK.
I rarely appear on the "transmission" with a microphone now: only for old friends. Exchange QSL cards via the E-QSL service or E-m adress
