SCARS occasionally hosts other events during the year - such as our 'Hams & Eggs'   Hidden Transmitter Hunt.

We also assist various fund-raising organizations by providing communications.   Perhaps the most notable of these is our part in providing communications (with other local hams) along the race route of The Midland Run , held each May in Far Hills, NJ to benefit The Midland School (a privately funded school for disabled children). 

In November of 1999, we provided communications support for the Delaware and Raritan Canal Canoe Race, a real fun event for all involved.

Our members also participate in numerous RACES and OEM drills each year.
