For years Finnish YLs came together in summer-camps to discuss
about  their common matters and
improving an idea to have their own society or own club.

 

SRAL-summer-camp  was 1984 in Kuopio Rauhalahti

OH7AA-radio amateur club that arranged that summer-camp,
gave there a rose to every YL-amateur as a remembrance of,
that the very first Finnish YL-radio amateur had got
her licence 50 years earlier.
and YLs remembered those roses when they designed their own logo.
