The VK6 division, in conjunction with The West Australian Repeater Group,
have installed a multi band HF beacon at a site 25 KM SE of Perth.

The Beacon is part of the World wide network of HF beacons constructed and funded
by the Northern California DX Foundation.

This picture is a frame grab from a video camera of the HF beacon equipment minus the Antenna.

The beacon consits of a TS50, HF mutiband vertical, and a GPS system
for very accurate timing so all the beacons world wide are time co-ordinated.

Height above sea level is 280M (900')
