Gladesville ARC

The Gladesville Amateur Radio Club
conducts test transmissions on Sydney UHF TV channel 35,
three nights a week (Sunday, Wednesday, Friday.)

The weekday transmissions feature extracts from the club's
Electronics Theory course,
and also includes industrial, scientific and other technical material
supplied by government, and commercial organisations,
such as NASA, CSIRO, the Australian Defence Forces, etc.

The Electronics Theory Course
is available for rental
on videotape
from the club
in both VHS and Beta video formats.

The tapes will enable you, without any prior knowledge
of Amateur Radio theory, to pass both the the
Novice and Amateur Operator's
Certificate of Proficiency examinations
for your Amateur Radio licence.

Each of these commercial quality lecture tapes
run for about 2½ hours per tape,
and are recordings of actual lecture classes
that are run by G.A.R.C. with the club's lecturer,
Ron Bertrand VK2DQ.

The club has been producing these video tapes for the last 12 years,
And more than 1000 students have passed the
NAOCP and AOCP theory exams using the tapes,
with a pass rate of better than 85%.
