Mr.Bernard M.Holt

The only President not to hold a transmitters license was Mr.B.M.Holt,
who was President of the Division for 8 years from 1921 to 1929,
including being the Chairman at the
2nd Annual Convention of the Wireless Institute
held in Perth on August 7th and 8th, 1925.

He was also the only Western Australian,
until Neil Penfold VK6NE in 1989, to be part of the Executive.
He was the first Federal Councilor, 1925-1926, for Western Australia.

His record term as President of the Division has only been equaled so far by
Bruce Hedland-Thomas VK6OO and Cliff Bastin VK6LZ
having taken the Presidential chair for 8 years.
