After a lifetime of service to the VK6 Division of the WIA.,
Jim VK6RU decided to retire from being the QSL Manager for the Division.
He commenced this duty just before the outbreak of WW2,
it was then suspended till he resumed immediately after the cessation of hosilities.
From then till now Jim has done a stirling job
with the thousands of QSL cards to pass though his hands.

But as time marches on and the many goals
that we have set ourselves are passed,
its time to reflect and view those goals.
Jim has now done more than just run the bureau efficiently
and at a minimum of cost to the members.
For years he has stayed at or near the top of the DXCC ladder,
and maintained his many skeds with overseas amateurs.

Now its time to let others do the work and sit back and watch, and
perhaps snare that P5 station if and when it appears on the bands.

Thanks Jim, for a job well done.
