Having Fun with Radio in the Tri-state Area.


SoBARC is affiliated to the ARRL.


We have members with several different interests in Amateur Radio.


Some prefer Voice, Some prefer Data, Some CW (Morse Code). Very mixed mode choices.


You don't need to be a licenced Amateur Radio Operator to join the club, We welcome all.


You can come visit us on a face to face meeting night and ask us questions that you might have.


Hams provide communications during National and State Emergencies.


The club owns a repeater that is functional 24Hrs a Day.


Sharon repeater, W1BAA, 147.285 Mhz, Tx +600 Khz, Access tone 77.0 Hz.
