RACES COMMEX

Each month, except during the summer,  The Maryland Emergency Management holds a drill on the second Tuesday.  These drills usually center on a specific scenario.  The scenario for specific months will be posted here as they are announced.  During the drill messages are passed in the format of a STIREP (a confidential form) and/or an ICS-213 -  as revised for Maryland RACES.  

The scenarios for the Maryland COMMEXES for 2009 as announced are :

August Two messages, ICS-213 and SITREP No Drill
September 8 Communications Equipment Check  with CTCSS and 10 M Comm. Check Communications Equipment Check
October 13 SITREP to be sent and a 10 M  Comm. Check Radiological Emergency
November 10 ICS-213 message to be sent and a 10 M  Comm. Check Cold Weather Event
December   No Drill
