Align your rotor control indicator using six digit grid squares.
Enter the six-digit for your favorite beacons into SQUARES. Then peak
your antenna on a beacon and adjust your rotor indicator to the heading
indicated in SQUARES. Peak your antenna on another beacon in the opposite
direction to verify the rotor controller`s linearity. Do this procedure on
the microwave bands to check for skewing of the antenna pattern.
My loggers have a built-in 6-digit calculator to display the heading/distance.
