Christmas Party

Another successful BARC Christmas party was held December 11.  After another outstanding meal, Mike Langley, KD4MTT, Master of Ceremonies, presented the annual BARC awards.

Tom Parsons, W4TEP, received certificate for VE Liaison and handed out certificates and thanks to the Volunteer Examiners. 

Murray Merner, K4MHM, and Terry Monday, K4ZYD, 2007 Field Day co-chairmen receive certificates and thank the club members for help making it a successful Field Day.

In Appreciation for Outstanding Leadership.

Also receiving certificates were Volunteer Examiners Byron Highland, K4BMH; Murray Merner, K4MHM; Richard Cox, K4CRD; Bob Moore, N4USB; Michael Martin, KE4UUT; Dave Langley, W4YDY; Gerry Clayton, K4IDD; Ham Chatter and Web Editor, Dave Langley, W4YDY, and Assistant Ham Chatter Editor, Tim Nelson, WA4TMN.

Terry Monday, K4ZYD, BARC President-elect, introduced the new officers for 2008.  They are First Vice President, Bob Moore, N4USB, Second Vice President, Ted Bertrand, KI4PWX, returning Secretary, Murray Merner, K4MHM, returning Treasurer, Richard Cox, K4CRD, Two Year Trustee, John Prokop, N8MPX, and One Year Trustee, Dave Pulver, KG4CZV, Past President. 

Thanks to Bonnie Pulver, KG4CZW, and her helper, Dave Pulver, KG4CZV, for their work in setting up the tables, getting the beverages and getting the poinsettias that were given away at the end of the program.  Bob Hanrahan, AF4QY, won the 50-50 raffle.
