Monthly ICS-213 Form Submission:

On the third week of the month, the Net Control will request that the response for the Check-In be made via an ICS-213 form.  The following is a guide for the content to provide for the Third Week Of The Month Check-In response:

Selecting the Template

Within Winlink's main form to create a new message:  Message -> New Message...

Within the "Enter a new message" form - click on Select Template

Within the "Template Manager" form - either click on the plus sign next to or double click on Standard Templates to expand selection. 

Either click on the plus sign next to or double click on ICS USA Forms to expand selection.

Double click on ICS-213.txt.  This will open your default browser displaying an ICS-213 template to fill in.

Template Content
Add Red Cross DR# & Precedence - Do not select
1. Incident Name:  Use the subject line for the Call For Check-Ins.
2, To (Name/Position):  Provide the call sign of the Net Control for the name /  "Net Control" for the title
3. From (Name/Position:  Provide your Call sign for the Name / "Net Participant" for your Position.
4. Subject: "YCARES Weekly Winlink Net Check-In"
5. & 6.  Use the current date and time for your time zone.  Include the current time zone with the time.
7.  Message:  Provide the normal Check-In information-
For radio mode check-ins, please include: Your Call Sign, Mode, RMS Station Call Sign, Dial Frequency, County, and State. Expected Modes are Packet, PACTOR (level), WINMOR, ARDOP, Vara, Vara FM, and APRSLink
For internet related check-ins, please include: Your Call Sign, Mode, County, and State. Expected Modes are Telnet & WebMail

8. Approved by: Use your First Name   Position / Title  use Call Sign / Net Participant


Submitting the Template

Click on the Submit button, Click OK at the pop-up,  Provide the Net Control's call sign for the addressee of the email and Post to Outbox.

 

Use intended session mode and RMS Station if applicable to send.
