>>Could somebody help me locate some good literature on TDR measurements

I would love to find something that would train >>me on all aspects of TDR
measurements. I am using a Tek 11801B oscilloscope.
A good reference on TDRs is H-P App. Note 62, "TDR Fundamentals," available
from your local H-P sales rep. (may also on their Web site).
On the subject of capacitance extraction, take a look at a paper by Megill
in the July, 1981 issue of Electronics, titled "TDRs profile impedances of
backplanes and pc boards." There's also a thesis by Jyh-Ming Jong at
Oregon State University from 1995 titled "Electrical Characterization of
and Circuit Modeling of Interconnections and Packages for High Speed
Circuits by Time Domain Measurements." I don't have a copy of it, but I
understand it's a good reference on the subject.
