Runway Lights

This was just a fun little project for Christmas a few years ago. It blinks a series of 16 LED in sequence similar to an ILS runway. I ran the lights down one side of the driveway to the house. This was something no one else could duplicate. I truly had fun with it when kids would knock on the door wanting to know where I bought them

This project started when one of my favorite electronics stores reduced the price of very bright white LEDS  to $0.30 each for Christmas decorations.

My son in law (KE5VDV) liked it so much he suggested  I have strings down both sides of the driveway and sync the two strings together. Ahhh a challenge, and since he wanted this for his house.....
