The TE704-C TELETRON HF Receiver includes a tone output which is intend for Fax decoding but that can be used for RTTY decoding given a tone converter. Our simple design returns a Mark/Space RS-232 level that follows the 1800Hz tone signal. This requires the receiver being accurately tuned. Once done with the help of the red/green LED meter, it will do its job very nicely.
