The following information is complementary to the one provided in the other files. - All dimensions are given in mm. - Enclosure is made of 0,5 mm thick silver plated FR4 epoxy board. - Interstage shielding is made of 0,25 mm thick silver plated metal (I don't know which one but not important as silver plated). - The inductors are made of 5 turns of 2 mm diameter silver plated Cu. The internal diameter is 13 mm. The winding is spaced, better look at the attached pictures. - Input/Output tap is at 1/2 turn from cold end of the inductors. - The link between the stages is made by mean of through-holes (not feed-through capacitors of course). - All the fix value capacitors are ceramic NP0 ones. - Increasing the value of the 1pF capacitors increases the coupling and increasing the value of the 2,2pF capacitors decreases the coupling. - The variable capacitors are Airtronic, Tekelec,... high-Q air capacitors. The insersion loss of the filter is 1,8 dB. Rejection is about 40 dB at +/- 10 MHz of CF and 65 dB at +/- 30 MHz. There is a second peak (50 dB lower) around 245 MHz. The value of the fix capacitors could still be further optimised to lower the coupling and even more improve the rejection, though at the expense of some more insertion loss.
