How to obtain a guest license in Romania
    The radio amateur licenses are issued in Romania by the General Inspectorate of Radio Communications (IGR, Inspectoratul General al Radiocomunicatiilor) from the Romanian Communications Ministry.

    The foreign radio amateurs may operate from Romania in the following conditions:

        When asking for a license, one must  fill in the following application form:

    TO:
    Ministerul Comunicatiilor,
    Inspectoratul General al Radiocomunicatiilor

    The undersigned hereby applies for an amateur transmitting license in Romania, under the following conditions:

    Technical details of the transmitter to be used:
    Name of manufacturer;
    type or model;
    frequency coverage;
    type of emission;
    plate input power to last radio frequency stage in watts.

    I hereby,state that, before being granted the license, I shall have full knowledge of the technical and operational standards, as well as of the rules pertaining to the checking up of amateur stations in Romania, and I pledge myself to operate the station within their limitation.

    Enclosed please find one photo static copy of my amateur license granted by the telecommunication authority of my country.
