WIFA stands for Wire Frame Inverted F Antenna. It resembles with microstrip inverted F antenna but is redisign according to the wire frame technique derived from computer graphics to confine to the 52 MHz radio band. This reduces the problem from Two-dimensional to One-Dimensional and allowing the design and modeling in 4NEC2. It is a very low profile antenna upon 8.8 cm over a galvanized iron sheet roof. It has a decent gain at very low inclination angle in vertical plane, beeing ideal for the use upon flat roofs insulated with iron sheet. Is derived from shortend to the ground (SGN) antenna class. Unfortunatelly it has a narrow bandwidth under 2% and not covering all 6 meters radio band plan without of an AT usage.
