GQN updates and digital contest

Hi folks,

A reminder there is a practice session tomorrow (Saturday 15th) at 9pm. This will be a dry run contest session where the scores won't count (scoring starts next month). I invite you to use the evening to practise using the software and it's features, as well as testing out the draft rules. Consider it like an episode of "Who's line is it anyway?": the rules are made up and the points don't matter :)

Draft rules for digital contest released

Check them out here. All feedback welcomed!

Slight tweaks to GQN rules

Logs can now be submitted up to 21 days after the contest. Logs can now be submitted over Discord by sending them to me as a DM.

New log released

New logs available here. There are now identical Excel and LibreOffice versions, as well as printer-friendly versions. Old logs are still valid so don't worry if you don't have the latest version. Please report any bugs etc.

Promoting GQN

I've emailed almost every branch in NZ with the flyer made by ZL4JAY, along with a brief bit of text. There is interest from an operator who hasn't been involved in the hobby for decades, and even interest from overseas DX stations, especially in the new digital contest, so word is spreading!

Please welcome any new participants, and don't hesitate to reach out and offer any help to newcomers.
