It
appears that this unit was designed to be attached to a window etc. and
the wire antenna would be connected to the right hand connector and the
left hand connector would be attached to the radio. The slider would
be then adjusted for maximum power out. Although not present on the unit
pictured there was apparently a second suction cup towards the front.
