Node 6008 is located approximately 50 kilometres west by SW of the VK3 REB repeater in Loch Sport which is on the southern edge of Lake Victoria in the Gippsland Lakes System.
The repeater VK3 REB is located on Mt. Nowa Nowa which is 44 kilometres East by North East from Bairnsdale and 4 kilometres due north of the town of Nowa Nowa on
Princes Highway East ( National route A1 ).
