When I'm mobile, and you're close enough to my location, here
are a few of the RF ways I may be reached over the air...
Simplex (or direct unit-to-unit communications)...
* Amateur Radio Service (ARS -or- just 'HAM')
Simplex Calling Frequencies (146.520 Mhz FM) and (446.000 Mhz FM)
both also sending a 100.0 hz sub-audible tone.
...call for "W1DLO"
* Citizens Band Radio Service (CBRS -or- just 'CB')
Channel 19 (27.185 Mhz AM)
...call for "Dan" -or- "Double R"
* General Mobile Radio Service (GMRS)
Channel 20 (462.675 Mhz FM w/ a 141.3 hz tone)
...call for "WQPY804"
* Multi-Use Radio Service (MURS)
Channel 5 (154.600 Mhz FM w/ a 77.0 hz tone)
...call for "Dan" -or- "DANO"
I often monitor most repeaters for both HAM and GMRS when

Please note that my APRS tracking is via my two cell phones (Verizon & US
Cellular), so if I happen to not be working, and instead traveling with a
friend or family member(s), I may not even have any transceiver with me.
My primary SSID is simply W1DLO
which is linked above.
