About

I became an Amateur Radio Technician on 2/13/2001.
I upgraded to General on 3/6/2007 (Working on Extra).
I am also an active VE Examiner.

I run HF, UHF/VHF, PSK31, JT65 FT8 and FT4 (new to that). The digital modes are very interesting.

In 2011, I obtained the one goal I set out to do when I got into this hobby, that was to Work All States. I have received my WAS Award!!! (1/2011) Thanks to all that sent QSL cards.

In 2014 I applied and have received the DXCC Mixed and Phone Awards. Also received my eQSL eWAS PSK, eQSL eWAS Mixed, eQSL eCanada 12 (still hunting the 13th) and eQSL eDX 88 Awards.

Not sure what the next goal will be.

I am a Retired Firefighter/Paramedic by trade.(A-Job)
I am also a Retired Assistant Marching Band Director at a local High School. (B-Job)
