BALIK SKAWTING PROGRAM. A program designed to remind the members of Alpha Phi Omega�s basic root of existence - the Scouting Movement... On October 1, 1999, the National Leadership of Alpha Phi Omega and the Boy Scouts of the Philippines signed a Memorandum of Agreement conforming to the implementation of the NEB�s flagship program dubbed as �Balik-Scouting Program� (BSP). As APO has been founded on the principles of scouting, our involvement in this program must never fade, as we are given a fresh chance to look back to our roots.
APO LEARNING CENTER. This project addresses the educational needs of indigent pre-schoolers by providing free education to include uniforms, books, and other educational paraphernalias.
FREE MEDICAL AND DENTAL MISSION. This is a continuing outreach program of Alpha Phi Omega instituted by almost all operating units nationwide. Free consultations, treatment, medicines and tooth extraction are among the basic services offered.
APO-TREEPARK PROJECT. Its roots can be traced way back during our tree planting days. Then came the Project Oxygen Belt. The APO Tree Park Project has evolved not only as a socio-civic activity, but a long-term sustainable ecological program for APO. The conceptual framework of this project revolves on the principles of environmental rehabilitation and preservation anchored on sustainable ecological development.
DIYES FOR PEACE - Involvement and commitment in the national quest for peace that led to the official supportive actions from various government agencies, including the House of Congress with its House Resolution No. 694, "RESOLUTION EXPRESSING SUPPORT TO THE 'DIYES FOR PEACE' CAMPAIGN AS A PEACE EDUCATION INITIATIVE TOWARDS BUILDING A NATIONAL CONSENSUS FOR PEACE".
PROJECT: CRUSADE AGAINST CHILD ABUSE - Launched by the National Sorority during the 2nd National Sorority Congress in Cebu City, the project manifests true humanitarian spirit of selfless giving and caring in fighting for a cause as noble as protecting our children.
BLOOD LETTING & PROJECT: BUHI - One of the most common service projects rendered by collegiate chapters and alumni associations is Blood Letting and Typing in cooperation with the Philippine National Red Cross (PNRC). Project Buhi (Blood Unit for Health Improvement) is a Purok Registry of potential walking blood donors.
RESCUE 1925: Operation Tulong is essentially a Volunteer Corps operations geared to help alleviate the plight of disaster victims.
