ASTRONOMY My very first scientific hobby was astronomy . By the age of 9, I had begun to realise the significance of deep space and was utterly fascinated by it. I was given my first astronomy book for my 10th birthday and used to live "up there". Now if you are wondering what that sound is, well its a recording the radio emission of something like a trillion trillion tons of Neutron Star spinning in space. If you should so curious as to alight on one, within a femtosecond or so you would be smeared as a layer one atom thick all over it's surface, and then of course those atoms would be crushed out of existence. Seriously, you'd never get anywhere near it. Extreme tidal forces will destroy anything a long way away.
