Echolink.
How to use GB3DQ via the Asterisk platform.
Check the status of the node with your DTMF pad on The mike type *7
Echolink is a little different, but not much. Some nodes have four digit and some six.
The basic connection is *33 followed by the six digit number. If the node only has four digits the two missing numbers are padded out with, in front of the four digits after the *33 another 00. Confused yet? So to connect to Echolink node number 418354 with your DTMF pad on the mike enter *33418354 To disconnect the command is *13418354 Thats for six digit Echolink nodes
Four digit Echolink nodes are as follows, node number 5678 Again to connect *33005678 to disconnect its *13005678 The red 3's indicate the "padding" numbers.
I hope this help you understand the connecting and disconnecting procedure on the Asterisk platform that we run here at GB3DQ.
