About Me
Welcome to my home on the web! Do you like the new look?
Thanks for stopping by!
The name here is Asa (KL5IS) but I go by Ace more often.
I am licensed General class as of march 16 2023 and have had my ticket since early 2022 (just around two years).
I am 17 years old and live in a small remote village in Alasaka part time alternating with Sterling Alaska on the Kenai Peninsula.
I am a dedicated ham radio operator and open source developer primarily focusing on the GTK/Libadwaita toolkits and Linux platforms.
I am a Hard core Linux user and have been running Fedora Workstation for almost a year and a half now with over 150 hours of tweaking
and customization and have (in my opinion) my laptop one of the most functional and beautiful systems on the world.
I work a lot on ham radio Digital modes such as SSTV, APRS, PSK31 and others.
I am not on WinLink yet but hope to set something up soon.
I also spend a lot of time working on web administration projects on my homelab.
