Michigan Thumb Net Preamble.

Good Morning!
This is (name and call sign __________________), Net Control station for the Michigan Thumb Net this morning. I am located in (location ___________).
This Net meets every Sunday morning at 8AM local time on 3950 kilohertz.The purpose of this Net is to promote good fellowship and an exchange of ideas
of interest to amateur radio. Moreover, if anyone has any traffic, the net will attempt to clear it
.

A net certificate is available to any station with four consecutive check-ins, or six check-ins in 3 months. Please send your log information to Tom N8ZI at his call book or QRZ address to receive a certificate.

Call stations in the following order - -
 *  M
obile Stations
 *  Short Timers (must leave early for Church or whatever)
 *  Stations Outside the State of Michigan
 *  Stations with Traffic
 *  Regular Check-ins

After you have all the initial check-ins recorded, proceed with Mobile stations.

Then if any traffic has been reported, try to find an outlet for it. Sometimes stations can go off frequency on 75 meters    or perhaps on 2 meters to clear traffic. Otherwise, at your discretion, the traffic may be cleared on frequency as you see  fit.

Then proceed with stations in the above order.

Call for additional check-ins every quarter hour and at the "end of the list". Go around 2 times.

Repeat the net certificate information for first time check-ins as they occur.

End the net when you run out of operators on the 2nd round.

Thank you all for attending the net and hear you next week !!
Thank you to our Net Control Operators !!!
