Nets of Note

International Friendship Net

This net normally meets every Thursday evening at 9:00 PM on the 145.37(-) VE3SAR repeater.  The net's stated purpose is to take check-ins, foster international good will, and pass along timely information of interest to local Radio Amateurs.

International Newcomer's Net

As there are several newcomers to amateur radio in the local area, LCRC has recently created this net for those who have recently obtained their Certifications (in Canada) or their Licenses (in the USA). This net normally meets every Thursday evening at 8:00 PM on the 145.37(-) VE3SAR repeater... just prior to the International Friendship Net (above). The net's stated purpose is to take check-ins, foster international good will, and to pass around and along timely information of interest to new Radio Amateurs.

Ontario Amateur Radio Service (ONTARS)

Serving the Ontario Amateur Radio community, it bills itself as "a friendly meeting place for all Amateurs". This net meets daily from 7 AM (Local time) to 6 PM (local time) on 3.755 MHz (75 Metres).  More detailed information about the net, including Net Control operator schedules, can be found at www.ontars.com
