International
Newcomer's Net

to amateur radio in the local area, LCRC has recently created
this net for those who have recently obtained their
Certifications (in Canada) or their Licenses (in the USA). This net normally meets every Thursday
evening at 8:00 PM on the 145.37(-) VE3SAR repeater... just
prior to the International Friendship Net (above). The
net's stated purpose is to take check-ins, foster international good
will, and to pass around and along timely information of interest to new Radio Amateurs.
