Institute of Australia Western Australia WA - AR Guide - Membership |
![]() ![]() |
For 95 years the WIA comprised seven autonomous State/Territory
Divisions
with it's headquarters in Melbourne.
Federal Councillors from each division
represented
their States on the Federal Council.
In 2004 the States virtually
agreed to merge, so that the Federal Office became the National Office.
The work of the Wireless Institute requires the support of ALL
amateurs
and others interested in the well-being and future of our hobby
in order to counter the pressures exerted by other users of the
radio spectrum.
