The start of many weeks of digging and jack hammering out rock for
the foundations of the wind generator tower and the main antenna tower.
The rock was a solid orange gravel type, that was near as hard as granet. The foundations went down about a metre and were about a metre wide. A lot of rock had to be removed, all by hand.
