The site is about 220 metres (700') above the costal plain in the distance. Most of the land that can be seen is semi rural, with grape vines grown over much of it. The Indian Ocean, which is about 30 kilometres away on the horizon, can normally not be seen due to haze. |

This contained the odd spanner or two along with the dozens of nuts and bolts used to hold the tower sections together. |
However on a clear day parts of the ocean can be seen from atop the tower. |
