Being located 100 KM South of Perth this repeater provides a wide coverage
of the coastal plain from South of Busselton to the Southern suburbs of Perth.

Due to Philips allowing access to the site, only a housing,
coax and antenna was required for the site to be operational.

The guyed mast is about 160' (50M) high, with the voice repeater's antenna almost at the top.
240 Volt mains power is available on the site and
a 20 Amp 13 Volt supply provides power for the amateur equipment.
There is no battery backup.
In general the site has reqired few visits and has provided service on a largely trouble free basis.
The lower slopes of Mt. William are being mined for Bauxite,
and access to the site is resricted through the mine site.
The installation also includes a digipeater on 144.750 MHz.
A Slow scan TV net is also run via this repeater for an hour or so every week.

The WIA Sunday NewsWest Broadcast is automatically re-transmitted from the site.
