The minutes of the March 2000 General Meeting were read and accepted (VK6TRC/VK6HAO).3 - Matters Arising
3.1 Item 3.2 Victoria Park
The awaited chip has been fitted to controller board by Mal VK6MT, crystals are on way from supplier and cavities are to be tuned.3.2a Cataby
Batteries for Cataby have been passed to Duncan VK6ZDP, for installation (not urgent). Peter reported that access to VK6RCT was good on the 30th March for two and a half hours from his QTH, there did not appear to be any low voltage warning tones present, however the news link may have failed.3.2b Tic Hill
Rob VK6TRC reported that he had installed the 3 new batteries and repaired the connection to the second solar panel, two spare antennae had also been fitted (VHF/UHF). The 70 cm ident had also been fixed.3.3 Item 3.5 Busselton Digipeater
VK6HAO reported that he had not had the phone number for VK6QB to pass to Rob Lamb but has now received it.
Action VK6HAO to pass VK6QB's phone number to Rob Lamb.3.4 Item 3.6 Possible move of 10/2 metre gateway.
A Possible site could be the Orange Grove Quarry, but still awaiting a feasibility study/site test.
Action VK6TRC to ring Boral to arrange a site test3.5 Avon Valley
Site needs more feeder cable.
Action VK6TRC to contact VK6CA (via VK6ZLZ) to arrange collection of LDF450.3.6 Item 4 Correspondence from VK6ZRT re 70 cm repeater
Confirmed that use of frequencies 439.275/434.275 MHz were OK.4 - Correspondence -
Packet outwards to VK6ZRT from VK6CSW re above 3.6.
Packet inwards from VK6IQ Re increased 6 Metre activity and possible problem with the mute setting of the 6 Metre repeater. Also availability of Low band Taits for $30 unmodified.5 - Treasurer's Report
Bank Statement at 24/03/00 shows a balance of $1,620-93 plus $67 banked later, less $32 dated 19/01/00 not yet presentedBooks have closed for the year, annual report to be worked on.

7.1 Material for Newsletter
The President read out the draft of his annual report for the newsletter and also his draft report for the conference of clubs.VK6CSW reported that his Net report was completed, the Treasurer reported that hers was in progress. Working Bee to be arranged on net to assemble and post newsletter.
There followed a general discussion on the current and future club scene in VK6 with the possibility of the need for mergers due to the shortage of volunteers.
