The Washington County ACES / RACES is proud to be a significant part of the Antietam Radio Association. Many, but not all, of the members of our ACES / RACES team are members of the ARA. Although we do get significant support from the ARA, they also recognize that we are an independent organization. Membership in the ARA is not a criteria for membership in either ACES or RACES. The local RACES / ACES group is largely supported by the Antietam Radio Association and as requested provides assistance with special activities as well as assisting with instruction for classes such as the Technician Class license and/or General Class License.
